A total of 15 school executives from Nakhon Si Thammarat including one of the mayors of the same province, visited Phitsanulok on Thursday, 26 January 2017 to observe the “English For All” and the Filipino teachers working for the project.
Before they observe the classes of four Filipino teachers under the program, the visitors had a short meet and greet with Dr. Warong, former MP for Phitsanulok who is the brain of English For All.
Dr. Warong explained that Sapanteesam School is starting to get noticed. The students’ number continues to rise every year. That is evident because of “English For All,” a project that aims to give Thai students the opportunity to learn English.
After the short get together, Dr. Warong led the school executives and the mayor to observe the classes.
I was there. I can’t help but notice the visitors smiling and nodding at each other upon seeing the active and confident students of Sapanteesam School. They were impressed to simply put it.
With the positive outcome of their visit and the super confident, active and happy students, it won’t be a surprise if they implement English For All in Nakhon Si Thammarat soon.
PS: Former secretary-general of ASEAN Dr. Surin Pitsuwan will also come to Phitsanulok on the first week of February to observe the English For All.
