Five planets of the solar system will be aligned diagonally in heavens.
If stargazing brings indescribable feeling of happiness to you, then you are in a much bigger treat.
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter are going to appear together starting from now until the end of February. But the magic doesn’t end there. The moon will be aligned together with the planets on January 27.
“This is a rare astronomical phenomenon and last happened 11 years ago, said Saran Poshyachinda, deputy director of the National Astronomical Research Insitute of Thailand (NARIT).”
Experts suggested that Mercury will be difficult to spot because of its low proximity to the horizon, but other planets will be easy to see.
If this sounds like a good activity you better start watching 45 minutes before dawn. Or, to be more specific, catch them at 6:30 am. By then, planets will be fairly clear to see without any equipment.
